It looks to be a great year on the White River. We have had a considerable amount of rain over the last month or so. The river is running high which is perfect for this time of year. The best method to catch browns or rainbows over the next couple months will be to drift minnows on the inside channel turns.
If your looking to throw some artificial bait check out the 4 1/2" suspending rogue from Smithwick or a 1/8 oz white fuzzy grub made by Lindy.Both baits will produce large numbers of rainbows and several browns daily.
I will be filming with Dance next week and you can bet that it will be a Rogue or a Fuzzy Grub that will be featured on the show.
