The White River has been great all month. I didnt catch the numbers of big browns that I caught in Feb. and March but i put a bunch of the 18"-21" fish in the boat every day that I fished. The caddis are now a thing of the past and the larger browns are back to biting. The river is in great shape eventhough there has been flooding in the area. Bull Shoals is holding water back just to keep from adding to the flooding downstream. When the river does rise in the next week or so it will be the best fishing most people have ever saw. Anyone that wants to get in on the best fishing ever should watch the flow charts and head this way the day after they first open the flood gates. the first day wont be that special because it will have to clean up a bit but the days after will be outstanding. Keep an eye on it. Should happen in the next week or so.
